REVIEW: Anything Goes, Barbican Theatre (2021)

Every so often in London we get a treat which is the essence of a Broadway big musical and this is the case with Cole Porter's musical Anything Goes at the Barbican Theatre.  This is essentially the production that wowed New York in 2011 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall and winning Tonys.

REVIEW: Wonderville, Magic and Illusion at The Palace Theatre (2021)

What better tonic to bring us out of lockdown than Wonderville a variety show of magic, illusions and mind reading.  This show is suitable for the whole family providing you haven't get children with a circular saw who want to practise sawing mummy in half on the kitchen table!  This show has to come with a Don't Try This At Home warning.

REVIEW: Oleanna, The Arts Theatre (2021)

The performances are tip top. Never for a moment do you see Johnathan Slinger as anything other than this shambolic, stressed, impulsive and maladroit academic and Rosie Sheehy is a great find making the journey of the play from failing underconfident student to assertive and eloquent woman.    Do not miss this play!
