REVIEW: West End Musical Celebration, Palace Theatre (2021)

Everyone's favourite is the first black Billy Elliot, and take over lead in Everybody's Talking about Jamie, which has just clocked up its 1000th performance.  Layton Williams charms with "Sex is in the Heel" from Kinky Boots with a fabulous dance number showing off his high energy, suggestive physical talent.

REVIEW: Lone Flyer, Jermyn Street (2021)

There is lots of humour in her story and, despite being told to keep her mouth shut when smiling, because she lost her front teeth playing cricket, she grins and her narrative is delivered with fun and panache. Credit must also go to Hannah Edwards' wingman, Benedict Salter whose startlingly fast changes of character amuse.
