So The Mixing Room venture was packed last night with laughter. Brian and Roger were created by Harry Peacock and Dan Skinner as podcasts and on stage, Simon Lipkin who has great comic versatility, remember him in Avenue Q and Rock of Ages plays Brian the wheeler dealer, opportunist and Dan Skinner is Roger, Brian's stooge.

Robert Shaw's son, Ian Shaw has written this richly comic play with Joseph Nixon and in The Shark is Broken he plays his own father. The resemblance between father and son is remarkable, especially in profile and in voice where it is uncanny. Robert Shaw in the film plays Quint a shark hunter brought in by the town of Amity Island to restore confidence in their summer beach trade. Roy Scheider (Demetri Goritsas) played the Chief of Police of Amity and Richard Dreyfuss (Liam Murray Scott) was a marine biologist.

This comedy has King Charles (Harry Enfield) and Queen Camilla (Tracy-Ann Oberman) the dominatrix in charge. Camilla has a cigarette on the go and issues bitchy remarks. Kate (Kara Tointon) gets excited about the new Boden catalogue, as Camilla castigates Kate for shopping at high street stores. Muggin (Crystal Condie) and Harry (Tom Durant-Pritchard) practise their yoga poses and meditate in California and Harry declares his love for Gladys his rescued battery chicken.
